V 2.6.7: Anonymous Usage Data Removed, Bugfixes

Available for download on the Downloads page.

The major change in version 2.6.7 is the removal of anonymous usage data. For many years, anonymized data was collected to guide development of the project, specifically to determine which operating system and environment language was most frequently employed by end users so that development efforts would focus on maintaining Infirmary Integrated for those environments. Additionally, country codes were collected to determine approximately where in the world Infirmary was being adopted in use, to guide efforts to support localization (language translation).

Over the years, development strategies for supporting various operating systems have changed and supporting localization in a variety of languages has become easier with generative artificial intelligence, making usage data less relevant to development efforts. Additionally, international data privacy laws generally encourage or require an opt-in paradigm. With these changes, I have decided to remove anonymous data usage collection altogether from future versions of Infirmary Integrated, starting with version 2.6.7!

Other changes include bugfixes and quality of life fixes to the Scenario Editor module.
