{"id":799,"date":"2024-02-01T11:43:58","date_gmt":"2024-02-01T16:43:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.infirmary-integrated.com\/?p=799"},"modified":"2024-02-01T19:12:31","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T00:12:31","slug":"v-2-6-pre-release-clinical-realism-stability-enhancements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.infirmary-integrated.com\/?p=799","title":{"rendered":"V 2.6: Clinical Realism, Stability, &#038; Enhancements"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.infirmary-integrated.com\/?page_id=15\">Available for download on the Downloads page.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This update includes a number of improvements to clinical realism and program stability:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enhancements<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Keyboard shortcuts added for all windows<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hints visible in dropdown menu items (e.g. Ctrl+N for new simulation, Ctrl+S to save simulation)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Added &#8220;Toggle Fullscreen&#8221; option; toggles between Fullscreen and Normal window states.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implemented in all devices (e.g. cardiac monitor, defibrillator, etc.)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Allows fast changing of color schemes, numerics &amp; tracings shown, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Clinical Realism<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improved the drawing algorithm for atrial fibrillation for realistic tracings (#189)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Included Tracing amplitude variations based on diastolic filling time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implemented into SpO2 &amp; ABP for decreased output with tachycardic runs (e.g. in atrial fibrillation)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implemented into CVP as fluid backup with tachycardic runs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Early beats (SpO2, ABP, etc.) no longer &#8220;drop&#8221; reading to 0%\/0mmHg before imposing next (early) beat (#190)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now early beats now enter the Tracing as an additive replacement, not a complete superimposition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PA catheter placement in the right atrium now pulls pressure from CVP setting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PA pressure values get disabled (greyed out) when the catheter is at the CVP (RA) site<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multiple improvements to the Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) including:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reshaped how the buttons resize automatically (fixes text clipping\/overrunning)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IABP balloon waveform timing adjusted for adaptability to irregular rhythms (#191)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enhanced and adjusted the physiology model timer that the tracing was triggered by<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implemented trigger dynamic delays for enhanced timing accuracy using modeling (#195)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implemented manual inflation timing adjustment via IABP console user interface<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proper deflation at the T wave and\/or arterial inflection, inflation at dicrotic notch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fixed ABP tracings not being drawn when IABP is running\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Partly caused by Tracing autoscaling not being triggered properly in edge cases- fixed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tracing also triggered for ABP rhythm only provided by IABP (e.g. during VF) (#192)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Stability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fixed program crashing on window resizing (#127)!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This was a longstanding problem that was difficult to identify, track down, and fix!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Affected the Cardiac Monitor, Defibrillator, and IABP- all fixed!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementation debugging (#204, #205, #206)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AvaloniaUI (foundational dependency) upgraded to 10.21 (from 10.18)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Available for download on the Downloads page.
